Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion

Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion is a skin-freshening technique which helps to repair facial skin imperfections such as fine lines, blemishes and resulting scarring, age spots and sun damage. As we age, cell turnover slows down, resulting in dead skin cells build up on the surface of the skin. Fine lines and wrinkles become more noticeable, the skin appears dry, dull and grey. Microdermabrasion is used to speed up the sloughing process revealing the healthier, younger looking skin below.

The procedure consists of exfoliation of the outermost layers of the skin. We use Viora's crystal-free Precision Diamond Peel System. The tip of the wand is made of natural diamond chips, which polish skin and remove dead cells, allowing smoother, fresher skin to be uncovered. Customizable a vacuum-like process helps to stimulate microcirculation and lymphatic flow, increasing the blood supply that provides essential nutrients needed for skin regeneration. This helps accelerate the skin repair process and stimulates the formation of new collagen and elastin, thereby improving skin texture and elasticity. As with other skin rejuvenation techniques, more than one treatment may be needed to reduce or remove fine wrinkles and unwanted pigmentation. A series of 6 treatments is recommended to get the best results.
